24

Hi
I'm Kate. Mallory and Alice pretty much begged me to be part of this blog, so I am. I was at that sleepover, and it was actually my idea to play that game. Let me introduce myself a little. I am also in college with Alice and Mally. I'm not really sure what else to say, I don't usually blog. So I better just give my confession to the earlier question. Ok so last summerish I had a little thing with a boy that I'm slightly ashamed of. Just cuz he was kind of a tool. But anyway, my parents didn't want me dating him because he's not mormon, so I told them I was just being polite and the casual dates he took me on were no big deal. When actually we were making out. All the time.
Ok and my question is how many people have you kissed?
And my confession is...24. yeah.

xoxo,
Kate

Welcome.

Our names are Alice and Mallory. We are, two female college students that have been friends for our whole live. Recently we realize though, that we do not know everything about each other. We started talking, sharing, and confessing until 7am the next morning. We made up a game based off of truth or dare that we oh, so creatively named, "truth or confession." You answer the question asked or if you don't want to, you have to confess something that the other person/people don't know about you. My first two confessions: Mallory & Alice aren't either of our names (though we do actually know both a Mallory and an Alice), and the latest I (Mallory) have stayed up was until about 7am. Another confession: we won't reveal anything that threatens our anonymity. Why would this be the case? Well, my friends, this is a confession blog. Here is where the deepest of dark secrets can be spilled, or the lightest of inner thoughts can be shared -- Including our own. With that, everything we tell you is 100% true, and every time we ask a question, at least one of us will answer it (depending upon who posts the prompt.)

There are, however, some rules:
1. Please, please, please NO felonies. If you stole something when you were in high school to try and be 'cool' fine. But if you just got done robbing your local 7-11, please do not list that here.
2. Whether or not you choose to use a real name or an alias, please respect other's anonymity and use false names (especially if you're sharing someone else's secret)
4. No explicit confessions. I do not want to here details about ANYTHING sordid (yes this includes sex...remember this isn't an adult website, its a PUBLIC blog. If I see anything, it will be deleted, and if you're following you will be removed). You can confess you had sex with a boss, but I don't want to hear about how you did... that's just nasty.
3. Follow the prompts. (see below)

How this works:
1. I post a prompt, typically a question. An example of this might be, "What is something that someone has told you that you wish you had never know or found out about?"
2. With this you reply to the prompt. If you feel too uncomfortable sharing then you have to confess something instead. These can be random things like, "in 8th grade when Susie asked me if I liked Joe, I said no. But in reality I did" (this is a semi boring example, but you get what I mean).

So to start us out I will answer any three things about me (minus questions that would ruin my anonymity, and my biggest secret -- because I'm saving that for a blog). The first three questions I receive will be the ones I answer, so you lucky first people, be excited!

In return though, you must answer (or confess) the following question:

"Have you ever told a lie that people still think is true today and if yes, what is it?"

Mallory's Answer:
Yes. My friends and my mom think that I have never sneaked out of my house. But on at least 3 different occasions I sneaked out with the intent of running away from home. No one has ever know about this and so my lie still stands.

Alice's Answer:
When I was 12, my friend Janice and I were confused for being the same person. A few years later we were better friends and we decided to tell everyone that we were cousins. Considering we are Mormon, this is pretty believable. Then we went to college, and we introduced ourselves as cousins to everyone we met. So now all of our new friends who we are super close with think we are cousins. Success.

Have fun,
Mallory & Alice
